programs unique?

Non-Hierarchal Award Structure

There is no bronze, silver, or gold.
Every piece of work entered is judged on its own merit.
So, there’s work that’s Elephant-worthy, and work that isn’t.

Open Juries and Transparent Process

We have nothing to hide when it comes to our judging process.
If you’re interested, you can literally see for yourself.

Global Jury Composition

We are the first Indian industry awards to have the best global minds as jurors,
alongside the best minds from our country, India.

Flagging Regressive Work

In partnership with Indian Creative Women (ICW), all entries received are filtered
to ensure no overtly sexist, sexual or otherwise biased work makes its way through.
Our jury can take this call as well, if they find work that doesn’t meet standards.

Meet The Elephants

Meet The Elephants 〰️

Baby Elephant

Stellar work that meets all of the stringent judging criteria is honoured with The Baby Elephant.

This is work that deserves to sit at a higher notch than the mass of advertising, design, marketing communications or visual communications work seen by one and all.

Traditionally, only 10% to 15% of all entries submitted are deemed worthy of a Baby Elephant.

Blue Elephant

The Blue Elephant is recognised as a symbol of the very highest creative achievement within a category.

This is work that the industry deems a benchmark, worthy of applause by peers and the audience alike.

Traditionally, only 1% to 3% of total entries submitted are honoured with a Blue Elephant.

Purple Elephant

Created in collaboration with Indian Creative Women, the Purple Elephant celebrates the winners of the Equality discipline under the Creativity For Good track.

This is the work that has addressed and impacted gender inequality in India through innovative thinking. The work may include powerful representation of gender, and should set out to create a positive impactful change.

Baby Black Elephant

Instituted in 2024, the Baby Black Elephant was born out of the jury’s need to reward excellence within disciplines. This is work that is rightfully considered as a best practice for the industry, and also serves as a nominee for The Black Elephant.

Black Elephant

The Black Elephant is reserved for truly outstanding, best of show work that sets and surpasses the global standards of excellence and practices. A highly coveted, rare, and most prestigious achievement, a Black Elephant winner is showcased in the Kyoorius Awards Annual, and is eligible to use the Black Elephant mark for publicising the work.

Since 2014, only 23 works have won a Black Elephant.
There have also been years where no entry has been deemed worthy of its high stature.

How can entering your best work make your business better?

Stand Out

In the ocean of creative agencies, an award-winning one is an island. When you win, you not only show your creative prowess but also cement yourself as the greatest go-to agency in that category. That makes your island the hottest spot in town.

Attract The Best Talent

When your work wins, the best want to work with you. Why tell them what makes you special when you can show them instead?

Make Your Mark

When the best in business judge and award your work, the rest of the industry takes note. And so do potential clients.

Give Your Team The Spotlight

Any shop is only as good as the people who are a part of it. An award shines the spotlight on your team and recognises their hard work.

Reflect

Regardless of winning or not, submitting the work allows you to asses and examine where it stands amongst the rest. And what you need to do to make sure you stand above the rest.
